Description:

The project consisted of the expansion and rehabilitation works of Budapest Airport (Liszt Ferenc International Airport) Terminal 2 doubling its capacity to 13.5 million passengers per year. The works included the expansion and reconstruction of the terminal, including the demolition and reconstruction of the central building (Skycourt). In 2011 this building was awarded several international awards, including the Tierney Clark Award and the European Steel Design Awards.

Scope of services: Design revision, construction management and construction supervision, performing the duties of the ‘Engineer’ in accordance with the FIDIC Contractual Conditions (Yellow Book).
