Água de Pena Sports Complex

Project description: The Sports Complex in Água de Pena, Machico, was built in the area below the Madeira Airport runway. Apart from several multi-purpose sports fields, such as squash courts, radical sports areas, leisure areas, and an amphitheatre, it also includes single storey buildings for administrative services, restaurants and shops. On its Eastern edge, outside the area covered by the airport’s runway, a maritime infrastructure to provide support to the Nautical Club was built.

Scope of services: Construction supervision of quays, berth ramp, landfill coastal protection and coastal protection spur, involving design verification, quality control monitoring, planning control, administrative control, contractual management.
