Expresso article with Nuno Gil interview refers Consulgal’s conference

Hélder Martins, Expresso journalist, wrote an article about the management of large infrastructure projects, referring the conference that Consulgal organized on this topic.

The article contains an interview with Prof. Nuno Gil, from the University of Manchester, who was invited by Consulgal to travel to Portugal, to participate in this conference, on the 14 November.
Founder, Director and Professor of the Infrastructure Development Research Group at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, Prof. Nuno Gil is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Johannesburg. He is the author of “Duality by Design: The Global Race to Build Africa’s Infrastructure” (Cambridge Press) and has twenty years of experience as a researcher and consultant on large infrastructure projects with organizations such as Autostrada (in Italy); Crossrail, HS2, London 2012, Heathrow Airport (in the United Kingdom); EDP (in Portugal); DFCCIL (in India); IBEJI (in Brazil); World Bank and OECD. He is currently working on a book for MIT Press, entitled “Megaprojects and Society: A Theory of Purpose, Value Creation and Distribution”. Prof. Nuno Gil is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers in the United Kingdom, holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
