This week, AtlasEdge proudly celebrated the launch of LIS001, the first data centre on the 30 MW Lisbon campus – a strategic investment that strengthens Portugal’s growing role in Europe’s digital infrastructure network.

One of Europe’s largest modular Data Centre’s now stands as proof of what is possible when people unite around a shared mission.

From the moment it placed the first of 147 modules on 02 December 2024 to this opening ceremony milestone on 28 October 2025, less than a year has passed. Together, we completed 9,300 m² of digital infrastructure, setting a new benchmark for modular execution in Europe.

CONSULGAL – Consultores de Engenharia e Gestão is proud to have supported AtlasEdge in this landmark project, delivering Construction Supervision and Health, Safety & Environmental management services, in partnership with Tecnoplano.

The event, starting with a special ceremony held on-site right at the heart of the facility, was honoured by the presence of Tesh Durvasula, CEO of AtlasEdge, and Francisco Rocha Gonçalves, Vice-President of the Oeiras Municipal Council, highlighting the importance of this infrastructure for the region’s technological and economic development.

This achievement reflects the power of collaboration and technical excellence — combining innovation, precision, and teamwork at every stage of development.

And it didn’t stop there! We continued the celebration at a Rooftop Party. It was the perfect way to kick off this exciting new chapter in this project and a confirmation that CONSULGAL – Consultores de Engenharia e Gestão is on the right path to becoming a key player and partner in the Data Centre sector.
