CONSULGAL has several group companies experienced and dedicated to providing water collection, wastewater and solid waste collection and treatment services in all phases of the project, from design to operation and maintenance of facilities and their equipment.
In Portugal, CONSULGAL GROUP provided various design and works supervision services related to the treatment of water for consumption or wastewater and solid waste. Among the many projects where we have participated, we highlight the Alcântara WWTP, where CONSULGAL provided technical assistance and works supervision services, where the specific requirements of the drainage system together with the strong urban constraints associated with its implementation in the urban fabric, and the limited space available for facilities were essential for the design of the WWTP. Other highlights are the works supervision contracts for the Alcantarilha DWTP in the Algarve and the water and sewage network projects for Prolagos (Rio de Janeiro) and SABESP (S. Paulo) in Brazil. Regarding solid waste, it is worth highlighting the works supervision of the Solid Urban Waste Recovery and Treatment Unit of Meia Serra in Madeira Island, as well as the organic recovery and treatment centres in Amadora and Seixal.
CONSULGAL GROUP also provides operation and maintenance services in these areas, such as the contract for the operation, maintenance and conservation of the Freixo WWTP, Porto, and the management of the operations and maintenance of the automatic solid urban waste collection system in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, whose construction work CONSULGAL has also supervised. A special mention should be made to the long-term contract for the operation and maintenance of solid waste incineration in Macau, which are operated by the consortium that includes CONSULASIA and CONSULGAL.
