Description:This project comprises two coal fired power plants, located in Porto de Pecém, Ceará State, Brazil. The power plants were built under an EPC Contract and started operation in the second half of 2013. Both units – Pecém I and II have 1 085 MW of installed nominal power. Pecém I’s Groups 1 and 2 have 360 MW nominal power, and Group 3, Pecém II, has 365 MW nominal power.

Scope of services: CONSULGAL provided “Owner Engineer” services, including Technical Assistance, “Procurement” and supervision of the power plants construction, commissioning, testing and start-up.
