The expansion and modernization of Praia Airport comprised the rehabilitation of 5 100 m² and the expansion of the existing airport facilities by approximately 3 200 m², as well as the rehabilitation and expansion of the aircraft parking area in three new positions, in a deployment area of 19 200 m², in order to allow an annual flow of 1 200 000 passengers. The project was co-financed by the African Development Bank.

Scope of services: Management and Construction Supervision, performing the functions of the ‘Engineer’ in accordance with FIDIC contractual conditions, involving, among others, updating the base data and controlling technical specifications, controlling the civil works detailed design, including calculations, plans, specifications and technical documents related to the works execution, verification and approval of the detailed design, financial control, planning control, Quality and Safety and Health conditions at work.
