Description:The Lisbon’s Multimodal Station – Orient Station is the largest, most modern and complex Intermodal Transport Station in Portugal, consisting of five distinct and interconnected areas: commercial and leisure area, railway station, with 4 passenger platforms, serving 8 lanes, subway station and terminus tunnel, 545 m long, in an urban area, coach station, with 6 service islands and capacity for 40 coaches and buses, and underground and elevated parking area, with a capacity for 2 000 vehicles. The construction works also included the 2 300 m long rail track platform, comprising the enlargement from 2 to 4 lanes (Northern Line), and to 8 lanes in the station’s area of influence, railway viaduct, rail track platform panoramic wall, as well as the set of underground works serving the entire intermodal complex and the respective external works.
