It is with great pride that we announce that the CONSULGAL/TECNOPLANO ACE Supervision Consortium has been awarded the Ricardo Esquível Teixeira Duarte Award by the Portuguese Geotechnical Society for the 2023–2024 period, in connection with the extension project of the Lisbon Metro Circular Line.

This award is one of the most significant national technical accolades in the field of geotechnical engineering, recognising organisations and teams involved in projects of high geotechnical complexity that stand out, among other aspects, for their rigour in the control and monitoring of execution.

Established by the Portuguese Geotechnical Society in 2017, the Ricardo Esquível Teixeira Duarte Award plays a leading role in recognising technical excellence, the quality of supervision and the competence of the teams that contribute to the realisation of strategic infrastructure for the country.

This distinction represents recognition of the work carried out by a multidisciplinary team highly committed to technical excellence, safety, risk control and construction quality, within a highly demanding urban and underground context.
