The Beja Airport Development Initiative is part of the Alentejo Region Strategic Development Goals. It was thought of as an important alternative to the Faro International Airport, in the Short to Medium-term. The 1st Phase of the Beja Airport Development Undertaking represented an investment valued at approximately € 10 200 000, comprising a Cargo terminal, a Services building, a Passenger terminal, Fire-fighter facilities, a building for stocking materials, and a Bomb and Explosives Deactivation building.

Scope of services: The services included the preparation of the Project Design of the buildings including architecture and all the relevant engineering specialties, as well as providing Technical Assistance during the works execution.
